the two perpendicular sides are b=6cm and h=8cm
area of triangle = 1/2 bh
                      = 1/2 x 8 x 6= 24
therefore the area is 24cm^2

The area of a right traingle = 1/2 * (product of the perpendicular sides)
In the above triangle, the perpendicular sides are of lengths 8 cm and 6 cm.
Their product = 48
Thus, the area of the triangle = 1/2*(48) = 24 sq. cm
