Side 1 of a triangle = 22cm (given)
Side 2 of a triangle = 12cm (given)
side 3 of a triangle = x 

=> perimeter = side 1+ side 2+ side3
Substituting the value , we get
=> 84cm = 22cm + 12cm + x 
=> 84cm = 34cm + x 
=> 84cm - 34cm = x 
=> 50cm = x
therefore x (side 3) = 50cm

=> area = root s(s-a) x (s-b) x (s-c)
 where s is semi perimeter = S1 + S2 + S3 / 2
=>  24 + 12+ 50 / 2
=> 84 / 2
=> 42 cm
area = root s(s-a) x (s-b) x (s-c)
=> area = root 42(42 - 22) x (42 - 12) x (42 - 50)
=> area = root 42( 20)( 30)(12 )
=> area = root 302400
=> area = 549.90 estimated to 550 cm^2
