by simplyfing the given equation we get
y-4x = 7
y/7 -4x/7 = 1
y/7 + x/(-7/4) = 1
hence it is clear that this is in intercept form which is made on coordinate axes so
the area of triangle is |1/2(7)(-7/4)| = 49/8
