Answer:

area of trapezium =1/2×(sum of parallel sides)×(distance between them)

distance between them = height (h)

h= am=dc=14

mb= ab-am=25-14=11cm

cm=da=15cm and cb=15cm

ml=lb=(1/2×11)=5.5cm

cl is h = cm²-ml²=(15²-5.5²) cm²=194.75cm²

root 194.75=13.95

h=13.95

area=1/2×(25+15)×13.95

1/2×40×13.95

=279

Answer: area = 279 cm

parallel side = 15 cm
