Find the area of trapezium whose height is 10 dm and bases are 12 dm and 20 dm(with calculation)​

Given :

  • Height - 10 cm

  • Bases ( parallel sides ) - 12 and 20 cm

To Find :

  • Area of Trapezium - ?

Formulae To Find :

Area of Trapezium - 1 / 2 × ( a+b ) × h

Where,

  • a - bases ( Parallel sides )

  • b - bases ( parallel sides )

  • h - height

Solution :

⟼ 1 /2 × ( a + b ) × h

⟼ 1 / 2 × ( 12 + 20 ) × 10

⟼ 1 / 2 × 32 × 10

⟼ 1 / 2 × 320

Area Of Trapezium is 160 cm²

  • Area of Square - side²

  • Area Rectangle of Rectangle - length × width

  • Area Of Parallelogram- base × height

  • Area Of Triangle - 1 / 2 ×base × height
