find the area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 10cm and 2m its altitude is 1.5m

Altitude\ height = 1.5m
1st parallel side =10cm
2nd parallel side =2cm
Area of trapezium = 1\2× (sum of parallel sides) ×height
=1\2 ×(10+2) ×1.5
= 1\2 ×12 ×1.5
= 6×1.5
= 10

area of trapezium= 1/2× height×{ sum of parallel sides}
=1/2×1.5(10+2)
=7.5×12
=90sq.m
ans. the area of trapezium is 90 sq.m
