Required Answer:-

As we know that,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × distance between them.

So, area of base = 1/2 × h × (a+b), where a and b are base and h is height.

And here,

a = 24cm

b = 20cm

h = 15cm

⇒ Area of trapezium = 1 /2 × 15× (24+20)

= 15/2 × (24+20)

= 330cm²

Therefore, area of trapezium is 330cm².

More to know about trapezium:-

• Perimeter of trapezium = Sum of all the sides

• A trapezium has 4 unequal sides.

• Two sides are parallel and two are non-parallel.

• Diagonals always bisect each other.

• Sum of all interior angles of trapezium is always 360° since it's an quadilateral.
