Find the area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 25 cm and 13 cm and the distance between them is 8 cm

Hi ,there !!!

area of trapezium is = 1/2 × { sum of || sides ) × height


=> 1/2 × ( 25+13 ) × 8 cm

=> 1/2 ( 38 ) ×8

=> 38 × 4

=> 152cm²

Area of a trapezium=1/2×h×(a+b)


h=8cm,
a=25cm
b=13cm




Area of a trapezium=1/2×8×(25+13)
➡1/2×8×38
➡152 cm²



∴Area of trapezium is 152 cm²
