find the area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 25cm and 13cm long and the distance between them is 8 cm

Here is the answer u want...

1st ll side = 25cm
2nd ll side = 13cm
Distance b/w them = 8cm
Now,
Area of trapezium =
1/2 X (sum of ll side) X distance b/w them
So, 1/2 X ( 25 + 13 ) X 8
= 1/2 X 38 X 8
= 38 +8
= _____

= 46
