let a and b are are the non parallel sides
c and d are parallel sides

therefore,a=160m (a>b)
b=48m
c=50m
d=78m

k=a-b
k=160-48
k=112

s=(c+d+k)/2=(50+78+112)/2=240/2
s=120

area of trap= (a+b)/k sqr root(s(s-c)(s-d)(s-k))
=(160+48)/112

(120(120-50)(120-78)(120-112))
=208÷112 sqr rt(120×70×42×8)
=208/112 ×1680
=208×15
=3120

therefore area of trapezium =3120m^2
