area of trapezium=1/2×sum of parallel sides×height
=1/2×48×12=48×6=288
=1/2×48×12=48×6=288

Hello!
(Sum of parallel sides)(distance b/w parallel sides)1/2=area of trapezium
Sum of parallel sides=48m
Distance between parallel sides=12m
therefore,
the area of yhe trapezium
=(1/2×48×12)m^2
=288m^2
Ans. The area of the trapezium is 288m^2
hope it helps... :)
