sol: in triangle ABC

angle B + angle C + angle A= 180 degree

45 + 45 + angle A = 180

angle A = 90 degree

=> triangle ABC is a right isosceles triangle

AB = AC = 7 cm (angle B = angle C)

and it is right angled at A

=> area of triangle ABC is 1/2*AB*AC=1/2*7*7=3.5*7=24.5 cm.sq
