Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √60(60-30)(60-40)(60-50)

= √60*30*20*10

= 100*3*2

=600 sq.cm.

Answer:600 cm²

Step-by-step explanation

Area of triangle by herons formula=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s=Semi perimeter

s=30+40+50/2

=120/2

=60 cm

Area of triangle=√60(60-30)(60-40)(60-50)

                         =√60×30×20×10

                        =√6×10×3×10×2×10×10

                        =√6×3×2×(10×10)×(10×10)

                       =10×10√6×3×2              (∵10×10=100,√100=10)

                       =100√2×3×3×2

                       =100×2×3                       (∵2×2=4,√4=2,√9=3

                      =100×6

                       =600 cm²
