HEYA!!
----------

area \: of \: a \: triangle \: = > > \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} (x1(y2 - y3) + x2(y3 - y1) + x3(y1 - y2))

Putting in values,

 \frac{1}{2} \: \: (2(0 - 6) + 6(6 - 0) + 4(0 - 0)) \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} (2 \times - 6 + 6 \times 6 + 4 \times 0) \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} ( - 12 + 36 + 0) \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} (24) \\ \\ \\ = > > \frac{1}{2} \times 24 = 12sq \: units
