Given that :-

⤍ a = 8cm

⤍ b = 11cm

⤍ c = ?

To find :-

⤏ Area of triangle

Solution :-

⤏ a + b + c = 32

⤏ 8 + 11 + c = 32

⤏ 19 + c = 32

⤏ c = 32 – 19

⤏ c = 13cm

⤏ s = a + b + c/2

⤏ 32/2

⤏ 16cm

By herons formula :-

⤏ Area of ∆ = √s (s – a) (s – b) (s – c)

⤏ √16 (16 – 8) (16 – 11) (16 – 13)

⤏ √16 × 8 × 5 × 3

⤏ 4 × 4 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 3

⤏ 4 × 2 √2 × 5 × 3

⤏ 8√30 cm² answer.
