Find the area of triangle two sides of which are 18 cm and 10 cm and the perimeter is 42 cm

so side 1 of triangle is 18

side 2 is 10 and we have to find side 3

as we know that perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides

then, let side 3 be X then

18+10+X=42

28+X=42

x=42-28

x=14

therefore side 3 equals 14

now, area of triangle = 1/2(base X height)
