let a = 8cm , b = 11cm c = ?
given, perimeter,P = 32cm
this gives. P = a + b+ c = 32
c = P - (a+ b) = 32 - (8 + 11)
= 32 - 19
= 13cm
now, semi-perimeter,S = P/2 = 32/2 = 16cm
Using Heron's formula, Area,A = sq root{S(S - a)(S- b)(S- c)}
= sq root{16(16 - 8)(16 - 11)(16 - 13)}
= sq root{16(8)(5)(3)}
= sq root(1920)
= 43.82 cm^2
given, perimeter,P = 32cm
this gives. P = a + b+ c = 32
c = P - (a+ b) = 32 - (8 + 11)
= 32 - 19
= 13cm
now, semi-perimeter,S = P/2 = 32/2 = 16cm
Using Heron's formula, Area,A = sq root{S(S - a)(S- b)(S- c)}
= sq root{16(16 - 8)(16 - 11)(16 - 13)}
= sq root{16(8)(5)(3)}
= sq root(1920)
= 43.82 cm^2
