Answer:

Let the sides of the given triangle are a, b and c and its perimeter is 2s.

a = 8cm, b = 11cm, 2s = 32cm

=> s = 16 cm

a+b+c = 2s

=> 8+11+c = 32

c = 32-19 = 13 cm

s-a = 16-8 = 8 cm

s-b = 16-11 = 5 cm

s-c = 16-13 = 3 cm

By heron's formula area of triangle

∆ = √s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

ar (∆) = √16×8×5×3

= √8×8×5×3×2

= 8√30 cm^2

ar (∆) = 8√30 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

a + b+c =2s

8 +11 +c = 32

c=13

therefore

s— a=16 -8 =8,s-b=16-11=

5,s -c =16 -13 =3

16 x 8 x5x3 =8 ÷ 30 cm²
