❍ Here, the question has given us the base and the height of a triangle that are 18 cm and 11 cm respectively. Now, the question has asked us to find out the area of the given triangle. So, to find the area of the triangle we simply need to apply the formula of the area of a triangle and we can easily find the area of the triangle.

ANSWER:-

☆ Area of the given triangle is 99 cm².

GIVEN:-

↪ Base of the triangle = 18 cm

↪ Height of the triangle = 11 cm

TO FIND:-

➞ Area of triangle = ?

FORMULA:-

✧ Area of triangle = ½ × H × B

Where,

  • H = Height
  • B = Base

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

↪ Base of the triangle = 18 cm

↪ Height of the triangle = 11 cm

✧ Area of triangle = ½ × H × B

→ Area = ½ × 11 cm × 18 cm

→ Area = 1 × 11 cm × 18 cm / 2

→ Area = 11 cm × 18 cm / 2

→ Area = 198 cm² / 2

→ Area = 198 cm² / 2 = 99 cm²

→ Area = 99 cm²

Hence, we got the answer. Area of the triangle is 99 cm².
