In context to questions asked,

We have to determine the value of the area of triangle.

As per questions,

It is given that,

Base of triangle = 24 cm

Altitude of triangle = 1.5 cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle can be calculated by using formula,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

So, we will put the value of base and height in above equation

Thus we will get,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 24 \times 1.5 \\  =  > 18 \:  {cm}^{2}

Hence, area of triangle will be 18 sq. cm
