Given : base = 4\ cm and height = 6\ cm

Solution :

  • Let , ABC be the triangle then , If base be BC and AD be height then, Area of triangle  = \frac{1}{2}\times base \times height
  • Therefore, to find area we use above formula ,
  • Area of triangle  = \frac{1}{2} \times 4\times 6

                                    = 12 \ cm ^{2}

Hence , area of triangle is 12\ cm^{2} .
