area of triangle = 1/2 x base x height

= 1/2 x 8 x 6

= 24 cm2

Given That :

Base = 8cm

Altitude= 6cm

Solution:

 \rm \: area \: of \: triangle =   \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

(★Note- Altitude and height are same)

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 8 \times 6 \\  = 4 \times 6 \\  = 24
