To Find :

  • Area of triangle whose length of sides are : 10cm , 12 cm and 14 cm

Solution :

\large\sf{Let}\begin{cases}\sf{\bullet\:a = 10cm}\\\sf{\bullet\:b = 12cm}\\\sf{\bullet\:c = 14cm} \end{cases}

By Heron's Formula :

 \sf \: s =  \frac{a + b + c}{2}  \\

\sf \: s =  \frac{10 + 12 + 14}{2} \\   \\  \sf \: s=   \cancel\frac{36}{2}  \\  \\ \sf \: s= 18cm

\sf \: ar.of \triangle =  \sqrt{s(s - a) (s - b)(s - c)}  \\ \\  \sf \:  =  \sqrt{18(18 - 10)(18 - 12)(18 - 14)}  \\  \\ \sf \:  =  \sqrt{18 \times 8 \times 6 \times 4}  \\  \\ \sf \:  =  \sqrt{3456} \\\\\: =\underline{\boxed{58.78cm^{2}}}

Hence

  • Area of triangle is 58.78cm²
