so make a equation that 5x+12x+13x=60cm
30x=60cm
x=2cm
side 1 = 10cm
side 2 = 24cm
side 3 = 26cm
so area of triangle is √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))
s=(10+24+26)/2
s=30cm
area is √(30(30-10)(30-24)(30-26))
=√(30×20×6×4)
=√14400
=120cm²

Given 5x + 12x + 15x = 60

          30x = 60

              x = 2.

5 * 2 = 10

12 * 2 = 24

13 * 2 = 26

Area = 1/2 * b * h

         = 1/2  * 10 * 24

         = 120 cm.

anu244: then why there is 24
anu244: why not 26
anu244: because i have confusion
siddhartharao77: It is a right angled traingle
siddhartharao77: By Pythagorous theorem we know that AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2
siddhartharao77: 24^2 + 10^2 = 26^2
