For finding semi perimeter -
a+b+c
—-—— = 12+6+15
2 ——----—---
2
So you will get - 33
—--
2
Now we use herons formula for getting area of triangle =
 \sqrt{s(s - a) \: (s - b) \: (s - c)}

The area of triangle is 12.48 sq.cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sides of triangle :

a = 12 cm

b = 6 cm

c = 15 cm

Area of triangle = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

where s=\frac{a+b+c}{2}

Substitute the values :

s=\frac{12+6+15}{2}\\s=16.5

So, Area = \sqrt{16.5(16.6-16)(16.5-6)(16.5-15)}=12.486 cm^2

Hence the area of triangle is 12.48 sq.cm.
