Answer: 120 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

1st side= 24 cm

2nd side= 10 cm

3rd side= Perimeter - (sum of 1st and 2nd side)

             = 60 - ( 24+ 10)

             = 60 - 34

3rd side=   26 cm

SEMIPERIMETER (s) =

\frac{24+10+26}{2}

= 30 cm

Now using the heron's formula,

\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

= \sqrt{30(30-24)(30-10)(30-26)}

= \sqrt{30(6)(20)(4)}

= \sqrt{30(480)}

=\sqrt{14400}

= 120

AREA OF THE TRIANGLE IS 120 cm^2
