a = 42

b = 34

c = 20

s = ( 42 + 34 +20) /2 = 96 /2 = 48

(s - a) = ( 48 - 42) = 6

(s - b) = (48 - 34) = 14

(s - c) = ( 48 - 20) = 28

Now,

Area = sqrt [ s ( s-a) (s-b) (s-c)]

= sqrt ( 48 × 6 × 14 × 28)

= sqrt ( 8 × 6 × 6 × 7 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 7)

= sqrt ( 6 × 6 × 7 × 7 × 16 × 2 × 2)

= 6 × 7 × 4 × 2

= 7 × 48

= 336 cm^2

a = 42 cm , b = 34 cm and c = 20 cm.

semi perimeter = 1/2 × a+b+c = 48 cm.

area of triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) = √48×6×14×28 = 336 cm².
