(5,12,13) are Pythagorean triplets
5^2 + 12^2 = 13^2
So, this is a right angled triangle.(hypot = 13, b = 5, h= 12)
Area = 1/2 * b * h
= 1/2 * 12 * 5 = 30 cm^2
Hence, area is 30 square cm.
