1 / 2 * base * height 

= 1 / 2 * 12 * 5 

= 6 * 5

= 30 cm²

  let base be 5 
then height is 12 as per pythogoras theoram{a²+b²=c²] [13 and 5]

 so 1/2×12×5
= 30 cm
