Find the area of triangle whose vertices are (1,-1), (-4,6) and (-3,-5).

Area of triangle = 1/2 × [1(6 + 5) – 4(–5 + 1) – 3(–1 – 6)]
= 1/2 × [11 + 16 + 21]
= 48/2
= 24 sq. units.
