Base = 4.9cm
Hypotenous = 5 cm
height = ✓(5)² - (4.9)²
= ✓25 - 24
= 1cm
Area of triangle will be = 1/2*base*height
=1/2*4.9*1
= 4.9/2
= 2.45 cm²
Therefore area of triangle is 2.45 cm²
Hope this helps you...:)

hello frnd!!
here's ur answer....
given:-
base=4.9cm
hypotenuse=5cm
we know that a²+b²=c²
therefore=
4.9²+b²=5²
24.01×b²=25
b²=25-24.01
b²=0.99cm
b=√0.99cm
area of the triangle=1/2×b×h
=1/2×√0.99×4.9
=2.43cm²
hope this helps...
