Answer:

Area of triangle = 24

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, three vertices.

Let (x1 , y1) = (0,4) ;  (x2 , y2) = (0,-4) ;  (x3 , y3) = (6,0)

Area of triangle = 1/2 [ x1 (y2 - y3) + x2 (y3 - y1) + x3(y1 - y2) ]

Where,

x1 = 0 ; x2 = 0 ; x3 = 6

y1 = 4 ; y2 = -4 ; y3 = 0

Area = 1/2 [ x3( y1 - y2 ) ]  (since, x1 = 0 ; x2 = 0)

Area = 1/2 [ 6 (4 - (-4)) ]

Area = 1/2 [ 6 (8) ]

Area = 1/2 [ 48 ]

Area of triangle = 24
