Find the areas of the rectangles whose sides are 7cm and 4 cm.

Answer:-

Given:

Sides of rectangle are 7cm and 4 cm than

▪︎Length of rectangle = 7cm

▪︎Breadth of rectangle = 4cm

To Find:

▪︎Area of rectangle

Solution:

Area of rectangle

= length × breadth

= 7 × 4

= 28cm²

Points to be remembered:-

▪︎Area of rectangle = length × breadth

▪︎Area of square = side × side

▪︎Area of parallelogram = base × height

▪︎Area of rhombus = ½ × diagonal¹ × diagonal²

▪︎Area of triangle = ½ × base × height

Given :

⬤ Sides of Rectangle are 8 cm and 4 cm .

To Find :

⬤ Area of Rectangle .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Rectangle = L \times{b}}\:]

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

Solution :

Here ,

  • Length = 7 cm.
  • Breadth = 4 cm.

According to the Formula :-

L × b

7 × 4

28

Therefore , Area of Rectangle is 28 cm² .
