The areas of the following squares are:-
(a). 100 cm²
(b). 196 cm²
(c). 25 cm²

It is because the formula to find area of a square is, A= a².
in which A is area of the square.
and a is the side of the square.

(a) area of square = side × side = 10×10

=100cm^2

(b) Area of square = side × side =14×14

= 196cm^2

(c) area of square =side ×side = 5×5

= 25m^2
