Find the areas of the squares whose
sides are:

(a) 11 cm

ans :-

= area of square = side x side

= 11 x 11 cm

= 121 cm..

(b) 25 cm

ans :-

= area of square = side x side

= 25 x 25

= 625 cm..

(c) 12 cm

ans :-

= area of square = side x side

= 12 x 12 cm

= 144 cm ..

The easiest way to find area of square with given sides is to put value of side of square in formula.

 \Large \underbrace{ \underline{ \sf Solution}}

As we know that formula to find area of square is

➠side²

Now apply formula for side of square=11cm

➠(11)²

➠121

Area of first square=121cm²

Now lets find area of square of side=25cm

➠(25)²

➠625

Area of second square is 625cm²

Now lets find out square of side=12cm

➠(12)²

➠144

So area of third square is 144cm²
