If a complex no is x+iy then its argument is tan ^-1 (y/x)
arg z1 = tan^-1 ((√3+1)/(√3-1)) = tan^-1 (2+√3)
arg z2 = tan^-1 ( -1/√3)
arg (z1z2) = agr z1 + arg z2
arg z1 = tan^-1 ((√3+1)/(√3-1)) = tan^-1 (2+√3)
arg z2 = tan^-1 ( -1/√3)
arg (z1z2) = agr z1 + arg z2
