d = 1

n = 10

S_{n} = \frac{n}{2} × [2a + (n - 1)d]

S_{10} = \frac{10}{2} × [2(1) + (10 - 1)(1)]

S_{10} = \frac{10}{2} × [2 + 9]

S_{10} = \frac{10}{2} × 11

S_{10} = 5 × 11

S_{10} = 55

Average = \frac{1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10}{10}

Average = \frac{55}{10}

Average = 5.5
