To Find :-

Average of ten items

Solution :-

We know that

Average = Sum of terms/Total terms

For first 6 items

37 = Sum/6

37 × 6 = Sum

222 = Sum

For rest 4 items

42 = Sum/4

42 × 4 = Sum

168 = Sum

Now

Average of 10 items = Sum of items/Total items

Average = 222 + 168/10

Average = 390/10

Average = 39
