Average of given set of numbers is defined as ratio of sum of all numbers(observations) to number of observations.

Therefore Average of above set =

(50 + 41 + 47 + 48 + 40 + 44) \div 6

= 270/6

= 45.

Therefore, Average is 45.

this is easy u can try this

add all the number s that were given then devide it by total no I will give u a easy example let see. 55,50,45,60 ,40 now we find the avarage of this no s.

the sum of total no is. 250

and total no is 5 so

we devide 250 by 50

the ans wer is 5.
