HEYA MATE....

WE WILL FIND THE BASE BY THE PYTHOGORUS THEORUM...

LET THE BASE BE X

 {x}^{2}  =  {17}^{2}    -  {15}^{2}

 {x}^{2}  = 289 - 225

 {x}^{2}  = 64

x =  \sqrt{64}

x = 8 cm

PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST✌✌☄☄✌✌

according to Pythagoras theorem

(hypotenuse)^2-(altitude)^2=base ^2

so

√289-225=8 is the answer
