Answer:-

Let the ratio of base and height of a parallelogram be 4x and 5x respectively.

Given:-

Area of the parallelogram:- 1,280m

Base and height of the parallelogram:- 4x and 5x

Solution:-

We know that,

Formula for Area of the Parallelogram (when base and height are given) is :- \tt {base \times height.}

Area of the Parallelogram = 1,280m

base × height = 1,280m

\tt{ 4x \times 5x = 1,280m}

20x² = 1,280m

\implies{\boxed {\tt {x^2= \dfrac{1280m}{20}}}}

\implies{ \boxed{\tt{x^2=64m}}}

\implies {\boxed {\tt{x= {\sqrt{64m}}}}}

\implies{\boxed {\tt{x= 8m}}}

Base= 4x= 4×8m= 32m

Height= 5x= 5×8 = 40m

Hope it helps.
