Answer:

Given :

  • Area of parallelogram = 131 cm²
  • Height of parallelogram = 11 cm

To find :

Base of parallelogram

Solution:

 \huge \bf \: b \:  =  \frac{a}{h}

b \:  =  \frac{ {131}^{2} }{11}

b \:  = 11.9090 \: (approx)

Given :

Height = 11 cm.

Area = 131 cm².

We know that,

Area of parallelogram = base × height.

So, 131 = base × height.

131 = 11 × base.

{ transposing 2 to LHS - Division becomes multiplication }

Base = (131 / 11) cm.

{ transposing 11 - Multiplication becomes division }

Base = 131/11 cm.

= 11.90 cm.

So ,the base of the parallelogram measures about 12 cm.
