We have area and height of a parallelogram, 18.4 cm² and 4cm respectively.

Let the base of the parallelogram be x.

Now, using area of a parallelogram.

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \star\bf\: \: \: {Area = Base \times Height}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {Area = 18.4}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {Base \times Height = 18.4}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x \times 4 = 18.4}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x = \dfrac{18.4}{4}}

\bf:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x = 4.6}

Hence,

  • Base of the parallelogram is 4.6cm.
