Find the base of a triangle of height
12cm and area 144 sqcm.​

\longrightarrow \boxed{ \bf Area=  \frac{1}{2} \times  B \times H }\\  \\\longrightarrow \sf144=  \frac{1}{2} \times12  \times B \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf6 B = 144 \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf B =  \frac{144}{6} \\  \\\longrightarrow \boxed{ \sf B = 24 \: cm}

Area of Triangle = \sf\frac{1}{2 }  \times base \times height

Area =  \sf144 {cm}^{2}

Height =  \sf12  \: cm

Here,

 \sf144 {cm}^{2}  = \frac{1}{ \cancel2}  \times  base \times  \cancel{ {12cm}}^{6cm}  \\  \sf =base =  \frac{ \cancel{144}}{ \cancel6}  = 24cm

Base = 24 cm
