Answer:

1)  given :  altitude = 12 cm  area = 96 cm  base = x cm

area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height

96 cm  = 1/2 * x * 12

12x/2 = 96

12x= 96*2

12x = 192

x= 192/12 = 16 cm  hence base = 16cm

2)  sum of angles = 180

75+50+x= 180

125+x= 180

x= 180-125

x= 55
