given the altitude of the triangle = 15cm and area of the traingle is = 150cm²

we know the formula for solving for the area of a triangle, that is 1/2 × b × h where b is the base of the triangle and h us the altitude of the triangle.

therefore 1/2 × b × h = 150cm²

==> 1/2 × b × 15 = 150cm²

==> 15b = 150 × 2

==> 15b = 300

==> b = 300/15

==> b = 20

hence, the base of the triangle is 20cm.

Hey there...!!

area of the triangle = 150 cm^2

altitude of the triangle = 15 cm

We know that,
area of a triangle = 1/2 * b * h

150 = 1/2 * b * 15

(150*2)/15 = b

b = 20 cm

Hence the base of the triangle is 20 cm
