Given :-

★ Area of triangle = 0.6 cm²

★ Altitude of triangle = 4 cm

To Find :-

★ What is the base of the triangle?

Solution :-

We know,

Area  \: of  \: traingle = \sf\dfrac{1}{2}× Base × Height

On putting the given values in the formula, we get

⟹ 0.6 = ½ × 4 × Base

⟹ Base = 0.3 cm

Hence,

\underline{ \overline{ \boxed{ \purple{ \bf{ \:  \:Base= 0.3 \: cm \:  \: }}}}}

Given ,

  • Area of Δ = 0.6 cm²
  • Height of Δ = 4 cm

We know that , the area of triangle is given by

Area = 1/2 × Base × Height

Thus ,

 \sf \mapsto 0.6 =  \frac{1}{  \cancel{2}}  \times base \times  \cancel{4  } \\  \\\sf \mapsto  base = 0.3 \:  \: cm

Therefore , the base of triangle is 0.3 cm
