Find the base of an isoscles triangle whose area is 60cm sq. And the length of one of its equal side is 13 cm. Using formula of isoscles triangle i. e. b/4√4a^2-b^2

b^4 - 676b^2 + 57600 = 0

let's assume b^2 = x

x^2 - 676x + 57600 = 0

x = 576 , -200 . neglect - 200 as length can't be taken as- ve .so x = 576

b^2 = 576 => b = 24 cm
