Given:-

◍ Area of Paralleogram = 560m²

◍ Height of Paralleogram = 1400cm

Find:-

◍ Base of Paralleogram

Solution:-

Convert 1400cm in m

→ 1cm = 1/100m

→ 1400cm = 1400/100 = 14m

Now, we know that

↦ Area of Paralleogram = base × height

where,

  • Height = 14m
  • Area of Paralleogram = 560m²

Substituting these values

➨ Area of Paralleogram = base × height

➨ 560 = base × 14

➨ 560/14 = base

➨ 40cm = base

➨ Base = 40cm

Hence, base of given paralleogram is 40cm

═════════════════════════

Extra Shots:

  • Area of Paralleogram = base × height
  • Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base × height
  • Area of Square = side × side
  • Area of Rectangle = length × breadth
  • Area of Trapezium = 1/2 × height × (a + b)
  • Area of Circle = πr²
  • Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂
