Answer :

The base of triangle is 80 dam.

Given:

Area is 16 hectares and height is 40 dam

To find:

The base of triangle

Explanation:

From the question, we have

16 hectares=160000 sq.m.

40 dam=400 m

Area of a triangle= \frac{1}{2}×base × height

160000=\frac{1}{2}×base ×400

base=160000×\frac{2}{400}

=800 m

= 80 dam

Area :

Area is the space occupied by a two-dimensional figure. In other terms, it is the amount that counts the number of unit squares that cover the surface of a closed figure. In general, square units such as square inches, square feet, etc. are used as the unit of area. It is applied to the calculation of the area enclosed by various geometric figures. A cone is a three-dimensional shape with a circular base. This indicates the base is made up of a radius. The distance between the center of the base and the highest point of the cone is the height of the cone.
